LIFE CHANGING PACK WALKS.

SOME TALK THE TALK. WE PROVE IT ON THE WALK.

At our PACK WALKS, you will get to practice the LIFE CHANGING DOG TRAINING™ to help your dogs learn to acclimate to process their emotions by communicating through the leash. You will get to practice around distractions of other dogs and humans which is an entirely different experience for your dog versus walking alone.  There is a shift in energy that you can feel and see in the dog's behavior and attitude.   We believe that walking together meets the innate need that dogs and humans have to belong a pack.

By communicating ON LEASH with your dogs through the COMMUNICATIVE LEASHWORK PROCESS®  you will start to see your dog's behavior change.  Pack walks allow a dog to experience that sense of belonging with other dogs.  The walks are also a great opportunity for a dog to practice their socialization skills such as meeting or passing other dogs and people, and not reacting, behaving well on leash, and experiencing a variety of locations, environments, and situations.

Pack walks are an especially good place to start for dogs who are on the shy, timid, or anxious side as it gives them a chance to meet other dogs whom they may be able to play with off-leash with someday.  If that is too hefty of a goal for your dog, then just learning to tolerate being in the presence other dogs is a great achievement and helps makes your walks a more peaceful experience.

It is a good place to start for dog owners if their dogs cannot be off leash to be able to provide them with a pack.  For people, a pack walk is not only a good chance to get some fresh air and exercise, spend some time with your dog, and work on your dog's socialization, but it is also a great way to meet people yourself!  It is so nice to be able to connect with other dog-lovers who can certainly relate to what you are going through!

prepare for the walk

  • Please arrive at 15 min early in order to hear proper instructions for your dogs and to ensure we are prepared to walk together; gives your dogs a little time to acclimate

  • Please have your dog already fitted with a proper collar and leash.  This will be addressed on our private session.

  • Make sure you wear proper shoes and clothing for a two mile hike.

  • Bring water for you and your dogs at breaks and for the end of the walk.

  • Focus on keeping calm energy and applying pressure to your dog for any long stares and releasing when they are in a better state of mind.

  • Please don't be embarrassed if your dog has a meltdown, we address any issues someone is having and then move on as a pack, also please look for me to direct our pack in the appropriate direction.

  • When we pass runners or other people with their dogs, we always ask that you place yourself in between the other person and your dog, to help your dog relax.

  • If we encounter any loose dogs stay calm and we will address the situation and properly advocate for our dogs.

  • Learn to appreciate the small victories and thank God for calmness and your dog will start to exhibit being around other people and dogs during the walk.

remember you are not alone.
